Area Preparation:
Surfaces to be painted must be free of all dust, grease and grime. Wash walls with a detergent and water solution before painting and rinse well. Glossy surfaces must be dulled by sanding to ensure proper adhesion to the underlying surface. Remove sanding dust. Remove loose paint. Fill all cracks and nail holes with crack filler and spot prime with this product. For best results, prime heavily stained areas or watermarks with a stain blocking primer.
Application:
Stir paint well before using. Intermix multiple cans to ensure color consistency. Air and surface temperatures must be between 50-90° F (10-32° C) during application and dry time. May be applied using a high quality brush, roller, at pad, power roller or airless sprayer. For airless spray, use a .015"-.019" tip at 2000 psi, adjust pressure as needed. Paint the ceiling rst, and then the walls. Work from dry areas into wet keeping a wet edge. Roll using even strokes, keeping the roller full of paint. Do not over brush or over roll this product. Two coats minimum are required for new and uncoated surfaces. When applying over previously painted surfaces, some colors may require more than one coat. Additional coats may be necessary for dramatic color changes, dark colors, uneven patterns or over rough surfaces for optimal appearance and hide.
Application Temperature:
Air and surface temperatures must be between 50-90° F (10-32° C) during application and dry time.
Drying Time:
At 77°F (25°C) and 50% R.H., dries to the touch in one hour, under normal conditions. Wait four hours before recoating. Darker colors may require longer dry time between coats. Low temperature, high humidity, thick lms or poor ventilation will increase these times.
Coverage:
One gallon will cover about 300-425 sq ft (7-10 m /L). Actual coverage may vary depending on surface texture, porosity and application method. Deeper shades of yellow, orange, pink, red and other colors may require multiple coats. Thinning is not recommended.
Cleanup:
Clean hands and painting tools and spatters with warm, soapy water. Clean spills right away with a damp cloth.
Recommended Substrates:
For use on interior cabinets, trim and doors, and high use areas, it provides a long lasting and quick drying finish.
