Spred^® Exterior Paint

Area Preparation:

Fill all holes, cracks or open joints with caulk. Lightly sand glossy areas. Make sure all areas are clean, sound and free of flaking paint or any substances such as oil, grease, dirt or mildew. Prepare Previously Painted Surfaces with this product or an exterior acrylic primer/sealer. Spot prime bare areas with an exterior acrylic primer/sealer.

Application:

Mix thoroughly • Apply at package consistency • Thin only when using an airless sprayer if necessary using 1/2 pint water per gallon • Make sure the air, paint and the surface you are painting are above 35°F • Do not paint if rain, snow, heavy dew or lower temperatures are expected within 48 hours of painting • Dampen roller slightly with water 
 
Application Temperature:

Make sure the air, paint and the surface you are painting are above 35°F

Drying Time:

Dries to touch in one hour and to recoat in four hours at 77°F (25°C) • Dries to touch in 3-6 hours and to recoat in 24 hours at 35°F (2°C)

Coverage:

Apply at 300-400 sq ft/gal (7-10 m2/L) • Actual coverage may vary depending on surface texture, porosity and application method.

Cleanup: 

Clean hands and tools with warm, soapy water • Clean spills right away with a damp cloth • After 30 days or paint has fully cured, areas may be washed with a non-abrasive, mild detergent.

Recommended Substrates:

Ideal for all exterior siding, trim, doors, shutters and fences.
