Spray Paint Advice
  1. Surface must be clean and dry.
  2. Remove all dust, dirt, mildew, oil, loose peeling paint, and other contaminants.
  3. Sand all glossy, rough, and patched surfaces.  

WARNING! If you scrape, sand, or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. Contact the National Lead Information Hotline at 1-800-424-LEAD or log on to www.epa.gov/lead.

Surface Preparation

  1. Surface must be clean and dry.
  2. Remove all dust, dirt, mildew, oil, loose peeling paint, and other contaminants.
  3. Sand all glossy, rough, and patched surfaces.  

WARNING! If you scrape, sand, or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. Contact the National Lead Information Hotline at 1-800-424-LEAD or log on to www.epa.gov/lead.   
  1. Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, such as an open garage.
  2. Shake can vigorously for 1 to 2 minutes and shake often during use.
  3. Hold can upright 6 to 10 inches from the surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke.
  4. Apply light coats over the entire surface until hiding is achieved, allowing 5 to 10 minutes between coats.
